Partners - Parquery step-by-step

From concept to completion: In 6 steps to real-time smart parking results for your business portfolio.

Become a partner

What does Parquery offer?

Parquery provides real-time smart parking results that respond to the following questions:

  • Where are available parking spots? How can I identify them for my customers?
  • Has a vehicle parked longer than what paid for?
  • How often are my parking lots used? Which areas are used most? When are my peak activity hours?

These results can be integrated into a parking solution provider’s portfolio via an Application Programming Interface (API) or white-labeled dashboard.

Parquery both works with operational partners and develops solutions for end customers. Our partners are looking to enhance their portfolio of existing products, services, or platforms with smart parking capabilities. Parquery offers a comprehensive smart parking solution that can be tailored to specific requirements, works with any Internet Protocol (IP) camera, is proven reliable, and can be deployed within a short time.

Step 2: Send us images or a map

Parquery can provide a simulation of the number of camera required with an address or a map.

The simulation of the camera view shows which parking spots can be monitored.

From a map or images of the parking lot, we can identify the optimal number of cameras and their most effective locations to cover the entire area.

If you have a parking area at hand to set up a pilot study, e.g. one of your customer’s parking lots, or a test environment, we can start straight away.

  • If cameras are already installed on-site, we can directly use those to run the first trial. You can send them to our cloud servers via the internet (ethernet cable, Wifi, 3G/4G SIM card). Alternatively, we can install our software on a server on-site.

  • If there are no cameras yet, we will recommend the ideal camera locations based on the map of the parking area.

  • If you’ve already installed cameras, all we need are image stills. You can send them to our cloud servers via the internet (ethernet cable, Wifi, 3G/4G SIM card). Alternatively, we can install our software on a server at your location.

  • If you have not yet got cameras, we ask you to send us a map of the parking areas you wish to monitor, based on which we will recommend ideal camera locations.

Step 3: Let's talk it over

In a second call, we discuss in what way Parquery can support and collaborate with you. We can revisit your priorities, needs, constraints, and specifics of an envisaged prototype project. Depending on the nature of our partnership, we can discuss options and considerations that will concern your customers, such as:

Camera-based systems comply with privacy laws and GDPR

Step 4: Proof of Concept (PoC)

Parquery proposes a proof-of-concept pilot project to partners and facility managers.

At Parquery, we like to start a new project with a fully functional prototype that verifies how Parquery’s solution can be integrated into your products or services. It demonstrates the results in real-time, without commitment, and at little financial expenditure.

A successful prototype permits you to test the capabilities of smart parking hands-on in one of your customers’ parking lots or a test environment: locate available parking spots in real-time and gather insight on how the premises are being used. This pilot project can be converted into a permanent model showcase for future customers.

Step 5: Results and tailoring the solution to your needs

As soon as Parquery receives the camera images, we can deliver real-time occupancy results. Initially, these results will achieve 95% accuracy, and after a maximum of four weeks, we guarantee 99% accuracy and verifiable results.

Our Operations Team will assist with API integration or guide you through the dashboard using an interactive tutorial.

By default, we provide the results via an API in a standard format (JSON, XML, etc.). This makes it easy to integrate the data into your platform, GIS interface, dynamic panels, Smartphone App, etc.

Alternatively, Parquery delivers results via a browser-based dashboard with statistics and structured analytics. This dashboard can also be customized or white-labeled, e.g. displaying your or your customer’s logo. Feedback received from our 80+ clients confirms that our dashboard is remarkably user-friendly.

  • localize vehicles parked longer than authorized (e.g. exceeding the maximum duration, longer than paid for, electric vehicles parked without being charged, etc.);

  • ascertain general usage and statistics for each parking area (e.g. Are there underused areas? When are peak usage hours? etc.).

Step 6: Feedback, adaptation and showcasing

Parquery makes sure customer needs are met by organizing a feedback meeting

One month after the first results, we organize a meeting to receive feedback on your experience and adapt the dashboard to better suit your purposes.

We can now transform the pilot project into a live real-time showcase for your future customers.

Depending on your requirements and suggestions, we will also use this meeting to define the next steps.

Partnership, continuous feedback and adaptation

A successful prototype provides us with a solid foundation for supporting you with your customers’ projects as they come up.

Parquery’s Operations Team will be at your side during the planning and setting up a new project and continue to support and assist you throughout our partnership. At any time, we are keen to hear your feedback and evolving needs. A change in circumstances calls for a fresh approach.

The solution is excellent, economically advantageous compared to the competition, and the company is receptive to new ideas on both the technological and commercial levels.

We are very satisfied, absolutely.
