Parquery is a cloud-based software that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect cars in static pictures from any existing camera, and delivers real-time occupancy data for smart parking management.
Parquery’s custom-designed AI algorithms integrate with your existing cameras, allowing you to monitor over 300 parking spaces in a single image. No additional equipment needed!
We offer not just a smart parking solution. Our software is currently being used for over half a dozen different applications, including in marinas, airport arrival and departure gates, train depots, bus depots, petrol (gas) stations, highway rest stops, grocery stores and warehouses.
Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, Parquery is fully General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant. We go to extraordinary lengths to ensure that images are automatically deleted after processing. Unless specifically requested by customers, no image data is stored. We automatically blur faces, license plate numbers, and any nearby windows to protect individual privacy.
Get notifications when your parking lot capacity exceeds a specified percentage, a car overstays the maximum parking time, or a delivery driver violates your dropoff rules.
Parquery’s Application Programming Interface (API) can easily integrate into any third-party platform: onsite dynamic guidance displays, Smartphone Apps, Dashboards, etc.
Connected ground sensors used to be the number one option for smart parking solutions. But today there is a better, more efficient and effective alternative: camera-based smart parking solutions.
Not affected by sun glare, snow cover, intense heat, rain, occlusion or even double-parked vehicles
Works with any parking type
Get real-time visibility from outdoor large parking lots to street parking to indoor parking garages
Identifies cars, silhouettes, and any object
We’re not just good at identifying cars. Our software can spot any object and even silhouettes
Works with existing cameras
No need to buy expensive custom cameras since existing infrastructure can be integrated
Easy to deploy
With Parquery, you can be up and running within a few days since it connects to your existing cameras. Other solutions require you to install expensive cameras or sensors in each parking spot
You can be sure that your data as well as any customer information is fully protected. We even blur out faces and license plate details and automatically delete all images after processing

Want to increase revenue, improve your customers' experiences, gain insights or detect violations?
There are different factors to consider when choosing the right technology for your project. A key factor is the type of parking spot you want to monitor.
Monitoring just a few parking spaces, or thousands? The number of spaces to monitor has major implications for the technology you choose.
You need one ground sensor per parking space versus one camera for as many as 300 parking spaces.
The result? Over a 10-year period, ground sensors typically cost at least twice as much as initially forecasted.
Looking for sensors without batteries? Consider a camera-based solution.
Modern cameras have a lifespan of up to 25 years.
You can be sure that your data as well as any customer information is fully protected. Parquery even blurs out faces and license plate details, and automatically delete all images after processing.
We decided to work with Parquery for several reasons:
- Excellent quality / price ratio of the technology, much cheaper than sensors
- Easy to implement (possibility to use existing cameras)
- Ideal solution for parking control, also more efficient than sensors

Yes, both solutions can be combined.
Depending on the design of the parking area, one camera can cover up to 500 parking spaces outdoors, and only about 10 parking spaces indoors, on account of the ceiling height.
Some customers prefer to use sensors indoors and camera-based solutions outdoors. In this case, both solutions complement each other.
The different technologies used are transparent to the end-customer, and the facility manager views all results in a single dashboard.
